I’m gonna mourn Dilbert guy in the same way most people mourned David Bowie.

Dilbert transitioned to wearing a polo with a lanyard around the same time I was forced to wear a polo with a lanyard. Like, Scott didn’t have to keep Dilbert relevant, but he did. He’s a news reading guy, a politics discussion, yeah. That prolly describes most of your parents too. But at his core, he’s still a wagie trying to be funny in the office because working in an office is boring as fuck.

He’s like the living (for now) template for the wagecuck cartoon creative type. I know several fellow wagecucks like this. We have t-shirt business, we crochet for Etsy, we publish board games to sell at gaming conventions, etc. Dilbert was Scott’s wagecuck creative side project. And he kept up with that shit for decades.

What a wild ride.

People really underestimate how much fun it is to make stuff. Scott (currently) loves making shit and having water cooler conversations about boomer stuff. It’s pretty cool, actually. Like, if I were dying, I’d literally be doing the same shit as I currently do too.
