Public Docking Stations for Steamdecks and Laptops
the other day I thought "why isn't there a place to play tekken or third strike irl?" And now I'm basically just waiting on the WD22TB4 dock to show up so I can pitch this concept to some places. It's 2026. Our coffee shops should have docks to plug in our devices and play vidya or watch Ratatouille on.
- 2x monitors
- separate aux port, speaker and vol controls for each
- meant for mirrored screens
- there's a wicker box
- the monitors are loosely zip tied to this box
- box will have a dock inside it
- idk how I feel about people putting their docks in the box.
- I'll probably opt to leave the usb4 cable outside the box to encourage people not to
- usb hub for controllers outside the box
- will probably add some signs letting people know what tf this is
