Plastic on the mind

Warning: Cringe stream of consciousness bullshit that I do not completely stand behind but felt a strong need to externalize. It is very tl;dr and kind of dumb.

Side note: being a trillionaire is such bullshit that my markdown editor (easymde) thinks it's a typo.

Money is fucking evil

like, obviously, you need it to incentivize labor and all that, but the act of handing money to someone else, to me, feels like a lewd act. people do horrible, dishonest things to get money. every dollar is stained with the suffering of others.

Humanity feels just like an unbalanced TCG. It's always been unbalanced, but it's so much worse now IMO. We're extracting and wasting more resources than ever. There are more humans alive than were ever supposed to be living. We went from 1.6 billy to 8.3 billy people in the span of 125 years. Those are insane numbers. We're not going to be able to support this exponential growth shit forever, not without mass deaths at some point. I'm not ready to witness cruelty on that scale. My family's descendants are not ready for those cruelties either.

We're at a point where we've achieved so much for progress. Humanity is so close to being cool and living its best life. It sucks. I just don't see continuing to worship money as a long term solution. Money isn't always the key. There are a lot of "3rd world" countries with better healthcare than the States.* So much gets eaten up in bullshit admin costs or pocketed.

Money is like dog treats. If you give a group of dogs treats, even ones that have lived with each other for years, and one dog gets more treats than others, there's a chance one of these treat depraved dogs will snap into food aggression and kill the other over treats. It's the saddest thing in the world. We need human treats to be regulated, but we also need fail safes for regulators. More game balancing. IDK how you're supposed to do any of this btw, I'm purely talking out of my ass (per usual). I'd say we should bring in speed running experts to figure it all out, but I'm sure the emotional weight we all carry when it comes to humanities based problems would crush any rational solutions they'd propose.

Sorry for the weirdo vent post... I just feel so damn powerless. How do you realistically unfuck all of these complex systems? I'm trying to put together and distribute material to educate people. I really am. But is that really enough? I don't want to make any (meaningful) political change because politics is violence. Violence is lame. When you fuck with that, you get money aggression, and you don't want that because you'll get Khashoggi'd.** The treats aren't worth it. I'll stick to distributing JoySound Karaoke guides for the next generation of weebs.

*america does have the best sports doctors and the best medical in the world, but only for the ultra-wealthy lol

**ok, I probably went a little to political here, and not in a safe way. Damn it. It's just so hard not to.
